Email updates from GCS

Signing up is voluntary. Global Climate Solutions uses your email address to send future climate insights, publications, books, announcements and relevant updates. There is no promised sending frequency. Buying a book does not subscribe you.

What we keep

We store your email address, subscription status, the wording and time of your consent, and the site surface and page path where you signed up. We do not need your name or other personal details. Page paths exclude query strings. We also keep creation, update and unsubscribe timestamps.

Storage and access

Subscription records are held in private storage with our website provider, Vercel, and are accessible to authorised GCS operations. We do not sell the subscriber list. A future email delivery service may process the information needed to send GCS updates; the GCS consent record remains separate from that service.

Your choices

You can withdraw consent using the personal unsubscribe link in future emails or by contacting GCS through our official LinkedIn page. You may also use that contact route to request access, correction or deletion of your subscription information. We may need to verify that a request concerns your own address.

An unsubscribe retains the minimum record needed to respect your choice and demonstrate consent history. Signing up again through the public form does not override that choice. Contact GCS if you wish to change it. Subscription data is retained while needed for these purposes; deletion requests are handled after verifying ownership.

Protecting the form

We use a hidden spam field and request limits to protect the signup form. Request limits use a keyed identifier derived from the connection address, rather than storing the address in subscriber records. These separate security counters expire after an hour and are eligible for removal during maintenance. Hosting services may maintain their own security logs.
